I feel like I have my 'scrap' back. Amazing isn't it?
Since going on a hiatus 2-3 years ago, I lost my mojo BIG time. Even with opening my shop..it still wasn't what it used to be.
Just lately (maybe it's because I have had so many stresses) I have got right back into my creative process and 'sticking stuff to paper' as Ben calls it.
I find myself browsing Pinterest and notemarking all these ideas...even sketching some!
It feels good to be back in that process. I think I have had a bit of a boost since being asked to do a few magazine features lately. That definitely helps the mojo and I must say that I was shocked to have been asked after all this time under the radar and not much scrapping going on at all!
These were all created using the Polly! Scrap Kits may kit. It really got my mojo flowing...and the only thing I added were the wooden pegs...so there is plenty in the kit. xxx
Happy weekend everyone!

They..
I am playing catch up. I have created so many layouts lately and haven't shared many of them on the blog.
This one I created a couple of weeks back. I really like the 6x6 pads as a background...This one is an Echo park This & That pad.
It's only a quick post, I have much to do & little time. One of those days.
Hopefully I can get back on the band wagon soon...after all I have my Smash* journal to share!

So inspired lately...
It's always the way when you actually have a lot of stuff to do!
I was over @ 2 Peas and I saw Shannon Tidwell's video where she made a layout using paint and stitching. I can't find the link now, but I just want to credit her because she inspired the below layout. It's a lot different from heres but it was definitely the inspiration point!
I am really loving using the sewing machine at the moment, so any excuse and I will.
The baby is actually me...yep scrapping all my old photos at the moment. I have been very inspired by Shimelle Laine and I would love to have a completed album of these photos.
Anyway I must go, I have a Polly! kit release tonight to get organised for. xx

Louie...
Anyone would think that Louie is the only thing I scrap...if you have been reading my blog you would see that he is the topic of many many pages.
BUT...it's just cause he is my baby. I am sure when I start my little family one day that they will be just as loved.
I don't have an album solely for Louie...I decided to go for a 'dog' album instead since I tend to scrapbook pages of all the doggies in my life...and the dogs that Louie 'hangs' out with.
I am going to share this album on my blog very soon, since it is the one that is progressing the most into a 'finished album'. I certainly don't have many finished albums.
Of course though the album will never really be finished as I add to it as more dogs come along and Louie gets older.
I love the blue crochet flower on this one. It is from a prize I won over at Lime Tree Creations. Becci does some GORGEOUS crochet flowers, trims and other bits. They are to die for!
I also used my new Fiskars/Jenni Bowlin Tab & Blue ribbon punch on this layout. I really love these punches and I can see them working their way into many of my layouts. I purchased mine from Anna's Craft Cupboard.
Anyway, I am still sick so I plan on spending today sitting in front of the fire, watching movies and possibly some scrapping!
I hope that you have a beautiful weekend.

Another April Layout...
This is my second page from the fabulous April Polly! Kit, which is now sold out!
The May kit is not far away though, and I have a subscription special on the Polly! blog if you want to check it out.
I have been out of the loop for the last couple of days struck down but a nasty cold/flu. I haven't felt this sick if a long time.
It has given me plenty of time to catch up with things online though while I cuddle up on the couch with my laptop. I have found some inspiring things this week.
I LOVE this layout by Shannon Tidwell and you can see a video of how she made it here.
I am also ADDICTED to Pinterest.
If you want to follow my pins, you can find me here.
I found this quote on Pinterest today and fell in love
(find it here.)
Until next time

Cover to Cover!
I have only recently discovered Shimelle's blog but when I did I was in love. She scraps just like a love, lots of layers and all about the pretty PAPER!
When I saw that she was having a class, I got a wee bit excited. A four week class on something I REALLY struggle with....thinking about the album as a whole! How often do we create pages thinking just about that ONE page and not about the album? We put pages to the side, store them in pizza boxes and often forget about them...what about the album?
You can sign up the class here.
I can't wait!

Trying something new...
When I scrapbook, for me it is usually all about the 'stuff'. The pretty little things that make up a page. I have been reading Shimelle Laine's blog lately and she is very focused on the journalling, the story and the photos. It made me realise that I need to have a bit more of a focus on this in my pages. I open up some of my older albums and it seems that this is the part that is missing. In twenty years time will I even remember the story behind the photograph surrounded by all the pretty embellishments?
Inspired by Shimelle's challenge to scrapbook in a style different to usual, I went with some simplistic and heart felt scrapbookinh. This was the outcome. I still look at it and feel that it *needs* something, but I am resisting the temptation!
This page was also created from the April Polly! kit which is now sold out thanks to all my lovely customers. I can't wait to show May's kit! :)
On a side note...I am really enjoying scrapbooking by the fire at the moment, doesn't it look cozy!
I may not have a 'scrap space' but I have a warm space :)
Love and hugs.
